I know this is a dumb question for most of you but I have no idea what this exam is for and if I need to write it. justletmein Posted November 14, 2012 Report Share Posted November 14, 2012 the mccqe1 is not required for the match but you will have to write it during residency if you dont do it before. canadian grads write part 1 of the qualifying exam before beginning residency (but after the match). leviathan Posted November 16, 2012 Report Share Posted November 16, 2012 QE1 helps with ranking for some programs if you did well on it but I think it's too late to write the QE1 for the match.
