geetar2112 Posted January 8, 2013 Report Share Posted January 8, 2013 Of the FM programs in Ontario, which ones give you the most room to do rotations/electives in Emerg in the 1st year? With an eye towards CCFP-EM applications being due in Sept of 2nd year, it would be helpful to know which FM programs give you the opportunity to prep the strongest application for the FM/EM match. For example, UWO's urban FM program seems to only have 1 slot for an elective and no designated emerg rotation in year 1. Would this be a significant setback in prepping a strong Emerg application? I've looked through the program sites with regard to curriculum structure, but many are vague in the timeline and vary between satellite sites. Any thoughts on this?
