joker20
I am a 1st year family medicine resident at a University program in the US, I was wondering about working in Canada, specifically Toronto as a hospitalist but i am not sure if the job is the same as in the states ? (responsibilities, ward management, ICU) Also, what is the salary range and what would it be for big city versus more rural, and what is rural 1-2 hour drive outside GTA...? I have been informed that ABFM certification is equivalent to CCFP certification, not sure if this is true and even if it was what exams would i have to take? I want to apply for fellowships in Toronto as well, are they very competitive, in the US only sports medicine would be competitive for family med fellowship. Sorry for all the questions just trying to get an understanding. thanks for all the help-
