loodogg
With a 3.1 cgpa, can you have a shot at all in any US MD school? Here is my yearly breakdown 1st undergrad (Biochemistry) yr 1: 2.39 yr 2: 3.13 yr 3: 3.43 yr 4: 3.43 Second undergrad (Health Sci) (2 years, doing first now) semester 1: 3.94 Even with a strong mcat, say 35+ hypothetically, is it even possible to still be considered? I'm just realizing I'm basically sh*t out of luck for any US MD program. Any chance at all?
Thomas86
why would you apply to US when the extra 2 years that you are taking will be good enough to get you into Canadian schools like Western, Queen and mcmaster. just keep your gpa the way it is for next year and with a verbal above 11 u can definitely get into canadian schools i mentioned
esus
Not really, your best chance is DO or Canadian schools that look at best/previous two years
