happy_happy Posted April 3, 2013 Report Share Posted April 3, 2013 Hi, I just finished with my research presentation, and I was wondering how I would go about with people who really helped me go through my struggles, like my PI as well as members of the lab that really helped me, but not really part of my research. Lactic Folly Posted April 3, 2013 Report Share Posted April 3, 2013 Write a nice thank you note (not email).. mention the ways in which they specifically helped you, the time and effort they spent, and the difference that it made to you. You could include some treats as a gift... everyone likes food Offer to keep in touch with anyone who is particularly invested in you / has a connection.. you may be able to help them in the future.
