Tiborovski
Hi everyone, lately I started considering a transfer from the "La Sapienza" University in Rome to the UBC. Here I'm the third year of Medicine and, for starters, was wondering if someone could tell me are there any chances that I could transfer some of my exams without the need to repeat them at the UBC (for instance Anatomy, Physiology, Immunology etc)? I'm guessing that I'd need to prepare for the entry exam? Honestly, I'm not that familiar to the educational system there, would appreciate any kind of information you could provide
craigdanny
canadian medical schools don't receive transfer students from outside of NA. Even within NA, some schools just don't receive transfer, and others only on compassionate grounds
jnuts
Agreed, impossible to transfer. You may be able to apply as a new student but applications to medical school in Canada are EXTREMELY competitive and chances of getting accepted will be very low. UBC medical does not accept foreign students at all. There are very few places at UBC for out-of-province Canadian applicants.
