Legendary3D
I was planning to get certified as a CNA (certified nursing assistant) to get health care experience with direct patient care but Canada doesn't have a CNA program? What is Canada's equivalent to this? I know they call it something else here.. Basically if anyone can guide me to a short-term program where i can get certified and start getting HCE (health care exp), preferably with direct patient care hours, it would be a huge help! joneil22
This is what I think you are referring to: Personal support worker (or healthcare aide- 12 month diploma program in college) We also have registered practical nurses (college diploma 3 year program) and registered nurses (4 year degree program either all completed at a university, or split 2 years at college and 2 years at university)
