tchengaa
hi there, I'm an aspiring pharmacist hoping to gain entry into ubc. i have already obtained an engineering degree in a Hong Kong university but the result is poor due to lack of interest. so i understand if I'm going to apply for ubc, i need to do at least one year of undergraduate at ubc before doing the pharmacy program. but the question is, do ubc pharmacy program count the results of my previous degree towards my GPA in ubc, or they just solely look at my performance in ubc? thanks for reading this, any help is greatly appreciated. purfekt
Hey, Please do not quote me on what follows; The new 2015 Winter intake for pharmacy will be different due to the E2P program, class sizes and admission requirements have not been announced on the website (Im early awaiting as well). From previous years, they only look at the academic admission requirements. These academic admission courses will comprise your competitiveness, and these courses are specific. http://www.pharmacy.ubc.ca/programs/degree-programs/bscp/academic-admission-requirements (If you are from HKU, you may need to refer to consult the BC transfer guide). Best you can do is wait for UBC to officially announce the new requirements! =) Good luck! P
