premed202
What is the breakdown in years of an internal medicine specialty in Canada vs the States? When you apply for the residency, do you also apply for a particular subspecialty (e.g. cardiology) or is that specialization seperate and further along the course of the residency program? Thanks

Thanks from medical school, you apply to a three year core internal medicine program. in PGY-3, you apply to another match for subspecialties.
