carmsismybestfriend
I did 8 weeks of ortho electives at U of T and did very well - received 2 A's on my school transcript. I was wondering if carms people have access to the elective evaluations beacuse these evaluations are obviuosly a "plus" for me. I'm a US-med grad so I've been a little iffy on what exactly to expect in the match.
A-Stark
If it's on your transcript, it will be visible on your CaRMS application.
carmsismybestfriend
If it's on your transcript, it will be visible on your CaRMS application. So at U of T the preceptor sends in evaluations of your elective complete with comments, etc.. The grade is on my transcript (but no comments) I'm wondering if carms team has access to the actual complete evaluation done by preceptor, the full evaluation that your preceptor sends into the medical educaiton office after your elective
hkmedic
Usually not because that's a document only relevant to the school where you did your elective at. Did you ask for a reference letter? That's what they're for... because that's what you eventually submit to CaRMS.
carms2015
I don't believe they see contents of your evaluation. You could always e-mail the medical education director. They obviously see your letter though
