Guest hringrose Posted July 29, 2003 Report Share Posted July 29, 2003 I am doing my BHS at Brock. It is an amazing program but I can't speak for UWO. Brock offers a unique Medplus program that is designed for BHS students with an interest in health professions. The program involves meeting different doctors and specialists each week, shadowing surgeries and other doctors, volunteering, health assessments and site visits. You also meet and make friends with others who have similar interests through this program. We review a book together and have group meetings. I think it is a great program. Also, you have quite a bit of choice in which courses you take in the program. I am currently taking summer courses. In one, you do a 50 hour internship and the other you do directed readings. I am able to do these at home and correspond with my supervisor at Brock via email. I have only great things to say about my program! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
