A Typical Schedule In Phase 1

Hi all, I hope this is not a ridiculous question, but I am just wondering what a typical daily / weekly schedule looks like for NOSM learners, specifically in Phase 1. I have heard most afternoons are off...is this true? How does the weekly schedule differ between Years 1 and 2?

In the first module the schedule is very variable but once you get into the regular module in first year typically you have Tuesday Wednesday and Friday afternoons off, on Monday and Thursday small group sessions are scheduled until 3.

 

Every day is different in terms of the types of session that occur, Mondays there is are two small group sessions and occasionally a full class session, Tuesday is community learning (which can be clinical and the schedule varies on the placement), Wednesdays are lectures, Thursday is Clinical skills and small group learning and Fridays are labs. 

 

Year 2 is different scheduling but the same type and number of sessions.
