So...I have my BSc in Chemistry, but I needed one Biology credit to apply to Ottawa. I am taking first year Bio at Carleton, and so far we haven't done a lot of anything, I guess the prof is keeping the pace slowish to make it fair to all in the double cohort, fine. I have to add that I did three co-op terms in research labs, an Honours thesis and now am working in a research lab. Today, on top of learning all about functional groups (some of the first years looked concerned), guess what I learnt????

How to do a journal search!!!

Hee hee. I realize it is useful for the 1st years to learn, but wow, was it ever boring!!! I couldn't leave either because the prof sat down right in front of me to watch (some librarian gave the little show), he must have been even more bored.

Worse though is that in one of our labs we're going to get a CLUE (author, title and pages or something) and we're going to have to find the article. :rollin I don't know if I can handle it all.
