I have never done any research work with a professor outside of the classroom and I am afraid that not having this experience will seriously jeopardize my application. If every other part of my application is up to par (i.e. in GPA, volunteer, extracurricular, MCAT), can this one insufficiency make schools automatically disqualify me???
