Guest frankie
Can you help me create a list of med schools that only consider the best or most recent two to three years when calculating GPA? So far, I only know of Queen's, Western and Saskatchewan. Due to a bad start at university (9 years ago), I'm not eligible to apply to any schools that look at all marks when calculating my GPA. Thanks for your help! Frankie
Guest Kirsteen
Hi there, Here are a few more: 1) Ottawa (they use their WGPA formula that encompasses your last three years) 2) Calgary (they select your two best years for their cut-offs, but take the whole academic record into consideration during the selection process) 3) UBC (although they do use a calculation for your overall GPA in their selection process, a heavy weight is placed on the calculation of your last 10 full courses) Cheers, Kirsteen
Guest eJaya
Dal will take your last two years (if you apply during fourth year- they would take your 2nd and 3rd year marks)
