Don Quixote
Hi all, Sorry to ask this, as I've seen similar questions asked before, but I can't seem to find an answer. I was wondering if anybody knows what GPA conversion Saskatchewan uses for Queen's? The conversion used on the excel sheet that I have seen posted has Queen's listed as a school that uses a percent grading system, which is incorrect. I'm wondering about this because I feel as though I am right on the cusp of an 83%. Also, do you think that a 518 would be competitive for getting an interview OOP? Thanks in advance! thatonekid
If you email sask med admissions and tell them you go to Queen's, they're really good about sending you the conversion scale for your school.
Don Quixote
Thanks a lot! They were very helpful! Do you think the 518 would be enough to get an interview OOP? I know it would only be speculation at this point.
thatonekid
No clue, sorry. Back in my day, the OOP MCAT cutoff was super low and you only needed a high GPA to get an interview. Hopefully someone else can answer your question. Best of luck to you!
virgil
Thanks a lot! They were very helpful! Do you think the 518 would be enough to get an interview OOP? I know it would only be speculation at this point. Last year the cutoff was 34 with VR11 (Probably like 90-93 percentile). Convert your 518 and score breakdowns to percentiles and you should have a rough idea if you're competitive.
