RJ12
Hey everyone, I am trying to gauge where I stand with respect to my marks in preparation for PT applications this fall/winter, and was wondering how ORPAS would calculate my sGPA. My course distribution is as follows: Fall 15- taking 4/5 courses (depending on ORPAS calculation) Spring 15- 4 courses Fall14-Winter 15- 10 courses Winter 14- 3 courses Fall 13- 4 courses I am taking extra courses in Fall 15 in order to remove my Fall 13 grades from my sGPA. I was originally under the impression that by taking 4 more courses, I could essentially "shift the window" of the sGPA and have them removed, since I this would remove the fall 13 term from calculation. However, after doing a bit more research, I am unsure whether or not ORPAS would replace Fall 13 with Fall 15, or if they would take an overall average of Fall 13/Winter 14 and give me grades based on that average. This is not ideal, and would make a large difference in the calculations. Any help appreciated!
OThopeful18
Hi, it would depend on which school you applly to. U of T will use your average gpa from the entire year if they need to go back a term to get 60 credits. Queen's uses cumulative gpa.
