JohnGrisham
Hello, I couldn't find it anywhere on US MD school websites. I have taken full course load in year 1 & 2 but I don't know if I should continue taking it since US MD schools don't even asks for it. Any help is highly appreciated! Depends. What is your reason for not taking a full-course load? Many medical school matriculants take full course loads, while also balancing part-time jobs, and numerous extracurricular commitments. If you are deciding not to take a full-course load in order to work more, or be much more involved in non-academics, then sure that could be a good idea. But if its because you can't handle the full-load, then that may be a sign to try to sort out your academics. With that said - if you need to take less courses in order to get A's, then do so - GPA is always king. No point taking 5 courses per term if its going to be mix of A's and Bs, when if you took 4 courses it would be all A's.
