A- and B- grade conversion

Hi,

I've perused the plethora of AGPA threads and I haven't seen an answer to the question of how A- and B- grades are converted to U of M's 4.5 scale. I'm at UVic and we receive these letter grades along with a GPA out of 9.0 (the percentage range for letter grades actually varies from course to course, for example sometimes A+ = 95-100%, sometimes 90-100%) but no percentages are given with our transcripts and U of M doesn't include the GPA conversion for A- and B-.

Most replies have wisely suggested contacting UofM directly...sooo, someone must have done this by now, right? :D Anyone happen to know the general answer, or even better, specific conversion practices for UVic?

Cheers,
