Guest deeds16
I'm just trying to figure out my AGPA (out of 10%) and my MCAT score (out of 20%). From what I've read from this site the AGPA is calculated as follows [(GPA out of 4.5 x 10) - 36]/0.9. I've figured that to be a 4.1% from a possible 10%. However, I don't know how to calculate my MCAT score out of a possible 20%. I have 10, 10, 10 and an R (12). That comes out to an average of 10.5. How do I get the percentage? Any help would be really appreciated. Sorry if this is a dumb question.
Guest Lactic Folly
I thought MCAT was worth 50% for regular applicants.
Guest deeds16
Apparently, there has been an amendment to the criteria. If you read the top of the "Read Me First" section on the Admissions webpage, www.umanitoba.ca/facultie...ndex.html, it says that the MCAT is 20%, the AGPA is 10% and the Personal Assessment Score is 70%. Guest Lactic Folly
That correction appears to be for Special Consideration category applicants. But anyway, I don't know the answer to your question- hopefully someone else can help
