Guest misagh
Hi all, This is a quote from the McMaster application requirements (from the OMSAS booklet): "The Contact Persons for the Verification List must not contain the description of the activity/example. It should only include the name, position/organization (if applicable), address, and telephone number of the person(s) who can verify that you participated in the activity cited. Contact persons should be identified numerically with the number at the end of each example/activity provided." What does the above mean?? There's only one verifier's list in COMPASS, and i've already filled it in with verifiers for all of my detailed autobiographical sketch items (for the Ottawa U application) in addition to the name, telephone number, address, postal code, etc, i also included a description of what that person was verifying (I put this in the "Comments" box). is Mac telling me i can't add that extra description? But that's odd, 'cause ottawa u is gonna see that verifier's list too... Hope that made sense... pls help! - Misagh
Guest Ceds
Hey misagh, From what I understand, that Comments field is just for giving the person's position title/dept. As for linking it with the activities that are being verified, many people have just used a "I did job a (1), after I saved the world from threat b (2) before playing professional sport c (3) and becoming Prime Minister (4)." The numbers refer to the verifier number. Hope this helps. Cedrin
