Guest multifish
Just wondering. Why doesn't Mac offer billeting to interviewees?
Guest WesternGirl
Hi Multifish, My understanding of this (after talking to one of our class reps on the admissions committee) is that we don't offer billeting because several of the first year students are involved in the interview process, whether conducting the interview and evaluating you guys in the simulated tutorial. I believe that in most other schools, and please correct me if I'm wrong, first year students are not involved in the actual interview process. They are involved in the tours, getting to know the interviewees, etc, but not in selecting candidates. But at Mac, several of the first year students are involved in the selection process. That's my understanding of the reason, anyways. Good luck on your interview.
