I've been searching for a funny letter that Peter (at least i think it was peter) posted for people that got rejected to send to the schools that rejected them... Could you direct my to that thread? thanks!

your refusal to offer me a position in your medical program at

this time. This year I have been particularly fortunate in

receiving an unusually large number of rejection letters.

With such a varied and promising field of candidates, it is

impossible for me to accept all refusals.

 

Despite your programs' outstanding qualifications and previous

experience in rejecting applicants, I find that your rejection

does not meet my needs at this time. Therefore, I will assume

the position in your school this September. I look forward to

seeing you then. Best of luck in rejecting future applicants.

I'm glad you guys are enjoying this as much as I did...an old boss of mine sent it to me when I was laid off from Nortel a few years ago at a time when I was looking for work. I wish I knew who wrote it as it has brought me much joy in times of hardship and stress...I would like to thank them.

Congrats on the interview... and especially being done that now! That letter you have there is the best... I will put it to good use Well... to some use... I'm not saying what yet! hahaha
