Do any banks transfer your student loc to a personal loc after graduation or do they all have to be paid off as a loan?

Another problem: I can't search for "mmi" since its < 4 characters.

I also miss the feature where you hover over the title for a short description. I know there is the little round arrow but when I go to my parents they have ^shudder^ dial up so that won't be working on weekends. And I really do want to mark all forums read, not just the one I'm looking at.

There used to be a "mark all as read" button... although I'm probably just blind.

Has anyone read the new "MMI for the Mind" book? Specifically, I'd like to know if its worth the read in respect to preparing for ethical mmi questions. Thanks

I never talk to the first person I get at a bank. Call and ask for an appointment "to ask questions about financing for _x_" and magically they're helpful and put you on to the right person. Once in a while I ask a question of the gatekeeper and it never goes well, although its usually just that they can't find the info. I did get a comment about an out of town "specialist" for professional school LOCs that could set up a time to meet me at my home branch, for what its worth. *I live in the middle of nowhere so a district rep is standard for everything, including a mortgage. Keep trying!
