aspiringstudent
for the weighted gpa or just gpa calculation in general, do they look at the percent you got (say 90%) in the course and add it like 90 + 82 + etc, or do they just add it like 4.0 + 3.83 + etc? Or do they add your GPA just per semester? Please someone answer I wanna know the answer
IMislove
Don't they take your OMSAS gpa, and then they removes how many course equivalents you get based on your full-time years (if you were full-time the whole time of course) thereby giving them the wGPA. I'm only a second year haha so I wouldn't know entirely. Could you expand a bit please?

So some semester courses can be half a credit, or 0.75, or 1 full credit, but every school has a different "name" for it. A 1 credit is worth twice as much as a 0.5. OMSAS calculates your GPA for you when you input all your grades and their respective weighting.
