English Prereqs - Online Courses

Hi,

I'm looking into fulfilling the English prerequisites for UBC via online learning at either Athabasca or Thompson River. I was just wondering if anyone here could provide any recommendations/suggestions in deciding between both schools and their experiences taking these online courses.

I’m doing mine through Athabasca and it seems fine—though a little mind-numbing. It’s a very clear set-up and the concise feedback I’ve gotten from the prof will make it easy to do well. I don’t have experience with Thompson. At the moment, the earliest that you could start your courses with Athabasca is Feb 1st. If you could start earlier with Thompson, it might be worth it?

Are you guys taking Poetry and Plays with Athabasca? That's what I was planing on taking.
