Med School Application Question

Im gonna be applying to the MD program in the upcoming school year and I want to use the spare time I have now to write some parts of my application early.

1. For those who applied last year/recently, do you remember what was the character limit per entry on the activities section?

2. Was there a section for a broader personal statement? If so, was there a specific prompt and what was the character limit?

My application had 350 character limits/activity. 

Not really. You can write an essay for:

Please list and describe your top 5 personal achievements / experiences. 

You have 5,000 characters. However, I remember reading somewhere that they don't score this essay, and it's not actually a "personal statement".

Just as a follow up, does the character limit include hours and title? Or is there a different space dedicated for both?

The title and the hours have a separate entry. The character limit is only for a description of your role and responsibilities.

Since the personal statement changes year to year, and their personal activities section can change slightly too, I would hold off on really writing all your descriptions (but it's a good idea to prepare which activities you want to include and think about what you want to say about it, then fine tune the letter count when the application opens).  What takes the most time is contacting your references and counting your hours, so I would spend your energy there!
