Hey I was wondering if anyone who got an acceptance or waitlisted heard from another school and is favouring the other school?

I personally got waitlisted for another school in addition to this one. If i get an offer I would accept it.

The website used to state that the next offer will be made to the candidate with waitlist #12 for OOP applicants. Now its says #1 again. Anyone know why they changed it again haha?

When did it say 12 and for how long did it say that for?

It had been 12 for around a month, and they changed it today to #1 again LOL

#12 might be the person ranked 12th overall (meaning 1-11 got offers), so that person is technically #1 on the list of not offered?  that's my speculation.  

 

It's said #12 ever since they put numbers to it.

Do you remember what the other columns said, did international used to be a higher number?

yeah! Thats what I was thinking too, but now it says "Next offer will be made to candidate with waitlist ranking # 1" So im guessing its next for someone where their ranking is stated #1 on their portal. I hope its the other way around tho haha

The international didnt change but the Quebec non-trad number used to be #4

Oshaku is right. The admission switched back to the Waitlist ranking # so we can track easily with out Minerva ranking.

 

On that note is there any OOP that got offer from McGill and plan to decline? McGill is my top choice (I am wait listed)

So just to clarify, if u are ranked #13 in your cohort on Minerva, then your are second in line on the waitlist?

No your rank on Minerva is yor rank on the Waitlist so if your Minerva shows #13 then you are actually ranked 24 overall in the OOP cohort

I am ranked < 5 on Minerva if that helps you clarify your ranking

Hey I just e-mailed admissions to see if any one had removed themselves from the OOP waitlist.  I got a response saying as of today not a single applicant has removed themselves from the waitlist.
