studenten

Actually, I'm 45th haha so my guess is more than 45!Around 40 could mean 45. Lol Actually, I find it mind boggling that they would put 45, or even >45, on the WL given the fact they know, we know, everyone knows the list doesn't even reach the 30th... bananasinpyjamas
Actually, I'm 45th haha so my guess is more than 45! Wasn't expecting that many people to be on the WL! I wonder what rank stands a good chance or how many people are usually accepted from the WL...
FB07
https://www.afmc.ca/pdf/ADMISSION_REQUIREMENTS_EN.pdf Statistics for McGill are on page 25. It shows how many people rejected an offer/deferred a year. I don't know if they replace deferrals with people from the waitlist, not sure how that would work. That should give you guys an idea of waitlist movement.. The downside is that this gives no information on how each category's waitlist moved. bananasinpyjamas
So assuming that 3-5 MED-Ps have to redo their year (which I read was an accurate #) and taking into account the stats of deferred/declined offers since 2008, I'd say that if your rank is under 18ish, your chances are relatively good (just a guess). WL movement changes every year though.
Med01
Courage

oshaku
A big batch of offers tend to go out in early June as the deadline for Ontario schools pass is what I heard.
studenten

oshaku
I think there might have been some movement before may 12 and they re-numbered the waitlist ranking to coincide with waitlist ranking release on minerva. https://www.afmc.ca/pdf/AdmissionRequirementsfor2015_en.pdf Gives you an waitlist movement in the past few years (page 30 of the pdf). Med-P tend to move a lot more.
Celexa
It's weird... They made a new waitlist after the 12th?
oshaku
well, they had the april IP interviewees to evaluate with so the waitlist probably got shuffled around as two groups merged on to a single list. Some people on the waitlisted since March might have came off the waitlist when the April interviewees offers went out, which was the waitlist rankings were released on Minerva.
