Hey Orthoo, I've heard back from Ottawa, Mac, and UofT (the latter two just today). Perhaps members who applied there could help further. I would appeal for the interview, by either writing to the secretary and the PDirector to let them know that you are highly interested in their programs. Did you apply to other programs in the same specialties as well? I would not say that it is your only chance The first rejection or short-listed notice was extremely harsh on everyone..but after all, I guess that we get used to it, and rather focus on the interviews invites that you received Almost everyone I know has been refused so far by at least one program or more, it is impossible to do electives across the country. Hey anyone knows if Ottawa Psychiatry sends out invites in batches??? I haven't received anything yet, and the invite has just come out around lunch...For now, I am assuming rejection, but still have a slight glimpse of hope. I am still waiting to hear back too, but on the CaRMS website, Ottawa specifically said that they would only notify invited applicants. I will take this as a rejection.
