OMA - Disability and Life Insurance

I know this is not a very fun topic to discuss but I figured I'd ask anyway.

I know OMA offers medical student disability insurance and life insurance policies which you can subscribe to once you sign up as a member of OMA.

My question is - Does OMA come to O-week so that we can register to become a member? Also do they offer inservices on the disability/life insurance policies and can you sign up for them at O-week? Or do you have to meet with them separately?

I'm just wondering because I'm not insuring my LOC and am planning on just getting life insurance.

Thanks!

T.

I don`t remember if the OMA was there during O-week, but I don`t think so. If they were, I'm pretty sure there was no inservice on insurance.

If you go to their website though I think you can register (I had just done it when I met with MDM- they are there O-week along with RBC and maybe other banks) and also look at the insurance info.
