Hey there,

Just wondering - how competitive is it for OOP applicants to get an interview at Sask? How about the number of spots for OOP?

Thanks :hat

Hey,

There are 6 spots reserved (out of a total of 60) for OOP applicants. About 30-40 students are interviewed. Those interviewed usually have a 2-year average in the high 80's. Your interview will be worth 25% and grades 75% once you pass the interview. Since the grades are worth a big chunk, accepted OOP applicants usually have 90% or more. Keep in mind though that many accepted OOP's also get accepted at their home school and choose to turn down their U of S offer. Therefore, it is possible to gain acceptance even if you are low on the wait-list. If you have a good average then there's no harm in applying.

Good Luck

Absolutely. One note however, you must have completed your 2 best years at the time of your application if you're an OOP applicant. Check the website for all the details.
