I never in a million years thought I would have a choice of medical schools in Canada. To those not getting the answer they want, take it from me, keep trying and never stop believing in yourself. He stopped a few houses away to chat with a neighbour a few houses down and it took everything in me to not run up to him before he got to my driveway. I was trying to guess at the size of the envelopes in his hands from down the street and by the time he got to my driveway I was all "you don't have any big envelopes! Med School acceptances come in big envelopes!" He just looked at me funny and walked away. I've been stalking him since the letters from Dalhousie came the beginning of May. No UofT letter today. To everyone on the waitlist, I hope it moves a record amount this year! And to everyone who didn't get in this year, please keep trying if it's what you really want to do; it will happen for you! (Trust me, if I got in, you can for sure! Just do 2 grad degrees, hee!) I can't believe in 3 short months we will have the privilege of meeting patients and learning all this new stuff! Too awesome.
