cookiemonster99
Anyone on here that have completed a GPR in Canada? I'm eager to hear about your experiences. I.e what the program was focused on, what type of things you did. i know most are focused on treating medically complex patients but did any of the programs have a focus on endo? implants? oral surg? Prolene
Sorry to sound oblivious but what's a GPR?
Chaxon
Dental genral practice residency. Usually just a year after Uni to refine skills/speed and have more clinical exposure. Common in the US, not to sure about Canada

Maybe you're skills aren’t up to speed with what’s expected in the work force so you need to refine them through a GPR If you’re interested in specializing and want to get more exposure to clinically complex situations it also would make sense.
