UofT Changed Admission Criteria

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

To keep it short and sweet- can anybody elaborate on the new admission criteria UofT implemented? I heard they're implementing CasPer. Are the GPA cutoffs for the interview still insanely high? Can somebody with a 3.7GPA actually stand a chance and get an interview this cycle?

No CASPer and no changes to the GPA.

The MCAT threshold has been lowered to 124 in any ONE section, and 125 in all other sections.

Graduate applicants no longer require an Academic CV or grad letter. They will receive credit for their graduate work based on the following categories:

  • Doctoral degree conferred
  • Doctoral degree in progress
  • Research-based Master’s conferred
  • Research-based Master’s in progress
  • Course-based Master’s conferred"

This be the dental forum, good sir.
