I see the programs at the U of A, UBC and NOSM all including special considerations for northern/rural applicants. I grew up and lived in Fort McMurray for many years and I'm curious if that could help my application. Having said that, I'm an Engineering student right now who will likely become employed in McMurray after graduation as well. I'm still trying to decide upon jumping ship to medicine.
