Is Queen's curriculum system-based? In other words, do you learn all the anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry of one particular organ system all together in one block, or do you learn the anatomy of all the systems in one block, then the biochemistry of all the systems in the next block etc.?

In the first semester you do all of the anatomy of the entire body all in one go. All of the other semesters are what I would call discipline-based i.e. you do a block of dermatology, then a block of hematology etc. In those blocks you'll do whatever the block coordinator deems it necessary for you to know about that discipline. Sometimes this involves reviewing anatomy from phase I and sometimes it doesn't. Phase I is basic science and is a little bit of everything i.e. anatomy, physiology, etc. From there on out it's a bit more organized. Hope this answers your question.
