Guest QueensMSc
Understanding that billetting isn't for everyone, we've taken the liberty of arranging discounted rates with some of Kingston's finer hotels. All of the spots we'll be posting are within walking distance to campus (15 minutes), or a $5 cab ride. When making a reservation please mention that you are a QUEEN's MEDICAL STUDENT INTERVIEWEE. I will continue to add hotels as they continue to answer my request for discounted rooms. And as always, feel free to email me with any questions you might have. Guest QueensMSc
HOTEL: Howard Johnson Hotel ADDRESS: 237 Ontario Street PHONE: 613-549-6300 WWW: http://www.hojo.com PRICE: $89 COMMENTS: Located right next to the Holiday Inn and right in Kingston's Downtown. Also one of the first hotels in North America to 'go green' and harness solar power to heat water (the electrical heating system is still in place, so don't worry about cold showers if it rains). Guest QueensMSc
All of these hotels are near to campus and ~$15-20 cab ride from the airport. If you indicate that you are a medical student you may be able to get the discount rate (no guarantees though). Hope that helps. Gregg
