optional question

Hi,

This question comes up every year. It's up to you to see if you still have something to say. In the end, it can only help you if comment on something pertinent that hasn't been brought up yet. That said, make sure the information is pertinent and has affected you in a positive way...and make sure you specify how you have been affected. The adcomm isn't interested in a list of activities you have done. They need the why and how in addition to the what you have done.

Hope that helps.

I'd have to agree. I was wondering the same thing while filling out my application, and was told that if they're giving you a chance to say more, you should take the opportunity. But as seedstrike says, only take it if you can make good use of the space. I used it to mention a thing or two that was relevant to my desire to be in medicine but that I hadn't been able to tie into the previous questions.

Good luck!
