MacPTStudent2019
Hi there, I would like someones opinion on my odds of getting into medical school in Ontario. I did a 4 year degree in BSc. Kin at McMaster and my 2 year competitive average is a 3.97. My first year marks were terrible but my last three years were okay. I am currently in my MSc. PT, also at McMaster, but I am not sure if it is for me anymore. I do not have any research experience and I have not written my MCAT, but we have to conduct a research project in second year anyways. What are your opinions? Thanks! bearded frog
Impossible to say without an MCAT score or more extracurricular details. That's a great and very competitive 2 year GPA but you'll have to look at each school and make sure that you fulfilled the requirements for the modified GPA for each school in terms of courses and credits, etc. And Mac will look at your total GPA so depends on what that is for them.
