could I call now??

I'm supposed to be elated that I've gotten an interview (at queens) but it turns out I'm stressing... I'm pretty sure I've also made the cutoff to western ( ). I'd like to try and get them on the same weekend (I'm from Alberta).

 

I realize that western won't be inviting people for interviews until later in February... but would it be ok to phone or email them to request a date??

Perhaps you could give me some advice. I made the MCAT cutoffs this year for an interview, but I'm not sure how UWO will view my first year prereq courses (i.e. first year Biol, chem, physics etc). I did my undergrad at Dalhousie and took a first year program called DISP (Dalhousie Integrated Science Program). It had all the content (and satisfied the requirements) for first year science courses (biol, chem, physics, calc etc), but I only recieved one grade at the end of the year and on my transcript it only says "DISP".

 

For the OMSAS application I simply filled in the first year equivalent courses that DISP satisfied, rather than putting down one course (i.e DISP).

 

So the question is should I

 

a)call UWO now and see what they think

 

or

 

b)wait until all interview notices are sent out and if dont get one, then call them.
