Med_simp
Getting pretty nervous for the MMI and wondering if anyone is practicing picture questions or more curve ball styled questions? Any tips?
MDInterviewPrep
Previous interviewer here: curveball questions are notoriously difficult to answer because they are designed to assess qualities like creativity, adaptability and your ability to work and adapt under pressure or stress! These are my top tips and tricks: Be as creative as possible Create 3 distinct points relative to whatever style of question you have Don’t forget to think about the fundamentals Don’t be afraid to be humorous Have an intro and summary Structure your response in an organized format Bring in your life experiences and personal stories As always: Practice these types of questions out loud, timed and with real person to give you feedback! Have your interview coach or practice partner be an actor who will interrupt and challenge you, practice analyzing photos, political cartoons, practice working under pressure/stress. Best of luck! imz
