Foreign dentist -- practicing in Canada/US

I finished my Bachelors and Residency in dentistry from India in Dec/2005. I'm looking for specific advice on practicing dentistry in Canada or US. Do I HAVE to go through qualification programs (yr 3 & 4)? Is there an alternative? Any help that u may provide would be very helpful to me. I've looked at CDA-ADC.ca and ADEA.org and I'm lost in the websites... Thanx.

Try contacting some Canadian and American Dental schools directly, they will steer you in the right direction. Generally I think Int'l grads have to complete years 2,3 and 4. It may be 3 & 4 only, and may vary between schools.
