How realistic it is for you would depend on what specialty you would want to transfer to, and if there is availability in that program at your home institution, where you are much more likely to have success transferring vs other programs in Canada. There are so many posts about transferring from FM over the last few months - use the search criteria. To transfer, you need to speak to the dean at your school, and they will help you out.
