Hey,

I noticed that it says grades will calculated from university transferable courses. I am from SFU and some of my courses do not transfer to UBC (I looked at BC transfer guide). Does that mean those courses will not be used for calculation?

Is SFU an university? If so I would assume it will be used in your overall GPA calculation.

University transferable means they transfer for university credit, not necessarily specific courses. On the BC transfer guide this usually shows up as general credit, e.g., “100-level”.

Unless the courses in question are from a diploma or certificate type program at SFU, they are almost certainly university level and will be used for your GPA calculation and count towards the minimum 90-credits for application.
