Guest HenryTheBig
Hey guys, I did some research work over the summer for a Ph.D student. The data that was obtained was used at a conference that the Ph.D student presented at. Should I put this in my sketch? If so, where? The data is also to be used in a publication but the paper has not been published yet so I'm not sure if this is fair game. Henner
Guest blinknoodle
I think accuracy is key.. don't over- or under-exaggerate your involvement. Were you an author of the PhD's presented work? Are you an author for the manuscript not yet submitted? (I don't think Ottawa is interested publications work not yet accepted, btw). You could always say you were 3rd author. If not, were you acknowledged (at the very least)? Just structure your answer such that it clarifies your role and the outcome.
