HOW DO YOU PHRASE IT

I would be inclined to use the academic year as the time period. You usually get awards just once, but they are to last for the year (if it is money or something like that anyway). That's what I did. Mine weren't scholarships, but I got some community service awards (from my university) and stuff like that, and I just put the academic year in which they were presented for.

Hi there,

 

I agree with the above. If the award was a one-time endowment, scholarship or accolade awarded to you at one point in time then simply describe the award as best you can and submit the date on which you received it.
