Was wondering if anyone had any experience applying for family med second iteration? Do most CMGs tend to match somewhere if they are willing to apply everywhere (including rural places)?

It has been some years since my match but everyone I know who applied broadly to FM in the 2nd round was able to match somewhere, many of them in rural sites.

There were a few people who chose not to apply to FM in the 2nd round and applied to other specialties the next year. All of them eventually found a position (IM/psych mostly).
