Yato
Hi there! I know this question has been asked a while back but I was kinda curious about how things have changed since COVID times and whether or not the thoughts of each school have updated since then. Here are my pros and cons for each school I have gathered so far: UofT +great city life +fantastic networking system with faculty and alumni +/- large class sizes -expensive tuition -expensive cost of living in DT Toronto -poor faculty-to-student ratio McGill +cheap tuition (though might change this year) +pass/fail curriculum +great faculty-to-student ratio +/- small class sizes -proficiency in French by 3rd year -combined curriculum with med students + less clinical in 1/2 year UWO +great clinical experience +low cost of living in London +great faculty-to-student ratio +/- medium class size -expensive tuition I'm just hoping to get some honest feedback/opinions on each DDS program from alumni, current students, and current applicants. Hopefully, this helps other people as well! Thank youuu!
dentistrydmd
McGill. All the things you mentioned as positives at U of T apply to McGill. The French is not an official requirement this year (there may be a push for you to be able to learn some French to be able to speak to patients in the clinical years though, which is what they have mentioned on their website).
