Coooooooooooooooooooooool.

Puts my laptop to shame...

If it is exactly like the one they show on the site, with all those James Bond features, I am sooooo psyched...

Last year during orientation week we were assigned a particular time where we went to a group session (20-30 students) to learn a little bit about the computers, meet the technicians from MedTech, and receive our laptop.

Not going to Ottawa, but $550 for an external burner? That's crazy; one of the big two (Futureshop/Best Buy) has a 16X dual layer Sony burner for $150 this week. The laptop itself seems overpriced given the specs but it is IBM.

the laptop belongs to you so you can do whatever you like... however MedEd is not responsible for damage/problems caused by stuff you downloaded.

  • 4 weeks later...

that's a keeper.

They are trying to get out of the mode of having producing some 1000 pages of paper per block. This would allow students that can't touch type to write over with a digital pen a copy of their powerpoint slide on their tablet PC.

You can always get an additional monitor when you use it at home.
